March, Finally!

Normally I wouldn’t say March, Finally! February being the shortest month can sometimes wiz by. But this year, it crawled, through snow!

In the last 10 days, between snow storms, I have had two family birthdays and visitors from both coasts in to celebrate. Also, I’ve been showing first-time buyers homes out in the North Valleys.  All good things but squishing them into 28 days was a lot.

My favorite part of my job is helping someone buy their first home. It’s scary and exciting. It’s also sound financially. Owning a home provides you with shelter and security and earns equity. Keeping money in the bank depending on interest will not even keep up with inflation. Financial health needs to go beyond just stashing money aside for the future.

It is essential that you have your money working for you. This can take the form of investing in the stock market, CDs, 401ks, and real estate to name a few. A house is a tangible asset. Unlike other investments you have far less control over, it will not vaporize overnight.

There are wonderful programs available to help first-time Buyers. Please reach out to me anytime. Let’s get you on your way to finding a home.
