Boy oh Boy!
First of all, this is not meant to be an advertisement. But oh my gosh! I went into Butcher Boy last week to pick up some beef bones for Mags. Grocery stores no longer custom-cut them; I need smallish ones for my pup. I hadn’t been to a bonafide butcher in years and was floored by the variety.
I began asking questions, and Kyle was friendly and helpful. I told him what a not terrific cook I was and asked what was easy. He led me to the section of prepared items.
On display were several stuffed items. I chose the stuffed bell peppers and the stuffed pork chops. He explained how easy they were to cook and that was that.
That evening, Tony took the grill with Maggie attentively watching and threw on the chops. 10 minutes on each side and we were ready to eat.
When I tell you this was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted, I’m not exaggerating. Here is a photo of me after dinner.
The flavors were like eating autumn itself. I could only eat half as the portions are very large. Tony ate his whole plate. This made me so happy as he has smiled through so many badly prepared meals in my home.
It looks like the cooler weather will be here shortly. Please read my previous post about winterizing your home. It could save you a huge headache and money come spring. Happy fall and happy feasting!
