Marching into Spring

The first Saint Patrick's Day parade in Ireland was held in Waterford in 1903, hundreds of years after the first parade in North America.

St. Patrick himself

Celebrations generally involve public parades and festivals, Irish traditional music sessions (céilithe), and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks. Saint Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish.

My celebration includes going to Ceol Irish Pub for a Guinness and to listen to some groovy music. Then Tony and I will head home for my annual good try at corned beef and potato dinner, or what my cousins call boiled dinner. I’ve prepared it 3 times in the past 3 years. Once it was edible. I think I’m narrowing down the problem. I’ll keep you posted.

Real Estate market analysts are predicting a very strong spring market.  Prices are rising and it looks to be a great time to sell. If you would like to know what your home is worth, please reach out. I can create a CMA (comparative market analysis) very quickly and easily. Even if you do not care to sell, it is good to know your home’s value.

Soon to be melting icicles
