Finding peace where you can

The long slog to election day is over. Whether you’re happy or sad, at least we are done with the ads, mailers, and signs.

Last Sunday, we drove north to Frenchman Reservoir. Instead of kayaking, we veered off to a favorite spot. It has a large outcropping of rock and a stream running through it.

Wear hiking boots. My ankles are happy I did. We got quite a workout crawling all over these boulders. Mags had the time of her life. Tubby time was needed when we got home.

Driving to work this morning, the trees look so beautiful. Throughout Midtown, the leaves are so vibrant and colorful. In my opinion, today is the peak for color in our area. Be sure to go for a drive and take it all in before they blow away. I suggest jazz in the background with coffee or cocoa to sip.
